We are excited to announce that The Green Mission Inc. is launching a Youth Coalition to gather the voices of young people and integrate their perspectives into our mission. We aim to engage with university students, trade students, emerging practitioners, and anyone who has a vested interest in sustainable building practices and deconstruction. This coalition will serve as a platform for younger generations to share their insights, challenges, and innovative ideas for making deconstruction more accessible and aligned with their environmental goals.
Our goal is to foster a community where young advocates for sustainability feel empowered to contribute meaningfully to the industry. Together, we will explore how deconstruction and the preservation of materials can move away from landfill dependency and, instead, enrich our communities. Through this collaboration, we aim to create a lasting impact that reflects the vision of future generations—those who will inherit and steward the planet

Her goal is to encourage the younger generation to transition from consuming news on platforms like TikTok to reading from reliable, ethical sources. This approach is essential to involve young people in sustainable building discussions, as it ensures access to objective and trustworthy information.
